Excess fat and sagging skin are common problems. AccuTite™, FaceTite™, NeckTite™, BodyTite™ and CelluTite™ offer a safe and effective solution to lift and tighten loose skin whilst also reducing areas of unwanted fat e.g. jowls, neck, bra-strap fat, breast lift, sagging arms, abdomen, flanks, thighs, cellulite and knee fat. The FDA-approved devices utilise radiofrequency energy delivered via a thin cannula to heat the tissue to a specific temperature. This heat energy causes contraction of fat and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to lift and tighten the skin. Using accurate temperature and energy sensing, we are able to monitor the treatment and ensure that we consistently deliver excellent results.
We normally recommend one treatment session using AccuTite™, FaceTite™, NeckTite™, BodyTite™ and CelluTite™ and the choice of device will depend on the area being treated. The procedure is carried out in clinic using local anaesthetic for pain relief and is performed by one of our specialist doctors or consultant surgeons. The procedure takes 90-120 minutes. How to prepare?
All our patients are invited for a consultation appointment prior to treatment. During your consultation, the doctor will assess your concerns and the areas for potential treatment. There may be a number of suitable treatment options and the doctor will discuss these with you in detail. You will be sent information about each treatment via email.
If you choose to go ahead with the treatment: on the day of treatment you will be seen by the doctor who will take you through the consent process, answer any other questions you may have, take before-treatment pictures and apply numbing injections into the area being treated.
Once the skin is fully anaesthetised, the treatment will begin. The treatment involves a small metal cannula being inserted under the skin to deliver heat energy to the treatment area. Normally patients will not feel any pain or discomfort during treatment. The treatment can take 1-2 hours, depending on the size of the area to be treated. During the treatment you can talk and listen to music. If you wish, you can bring a friend with you.
After treatment, the skin will be cleaned again and, if needed, a compression bandage will be applied. You will be given aftercare lotions to use and a date will be set for follow-up. If you are treating the face, we recommend that you either have someone collect you from the clinic or that you take a taxi home.

This treatment is suitable for a number of indications (please see previous question). The devices are clinically proven and FDA-approved.
We generally recommend 1 treatment session. In some cases, where more substantial results are required, the treatment can be repeated after 6 months.
Most patients will see some improvement at 1-3 months and optimal improvement at 6 months after treatment.
The results are long-term.
The treatment is performed with numbing injections. Most patients will feel little to no discomfort during treatment.
The most common side-effects are swelling, redness and bruising. In some cases, patients may also experience some soreness, tenderness or numbness for several weeks after treatment. These are not permanent and resolve within weeks of treatment.

The doctor will discuss your medical history and any steps that you need to take to prepare for the treatment during your consultation appointment. In general, we recommend that you are well-hydrated on the day of treatment and that you are not currently pregnant, breastfeeding or trying for a pregnancy.
