Are Dermal Filler Injections Painful?

No, our dermal filler injections are not painful. Numbing cream or numbing injections.  Most of our dermal fillers also have anaesthetic mixed in too. 

What Should I Avoid Before Dermal Filler Treatment? 

We recommend avoiding alcohol 24 hours before treatment and any blood thinning medications such as Aspirin or Ibuprofen for three days before treatment unless they are prescribed medications. 

How Long Do Results Last? 

How long results last tends to be variable – the area treated, your metabolism and the products used all impact longevity.   Most patients don’t need another treatment for 9-12 months. 

What Are the Side Effects? 

As with any injection, you may experience some redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising. These may take 2-3 days to resolve, and bruises sometimes longer. We advise that you don’t plan treatments around important commitments and allow at least 2 weeks between treatment and an important social or work event.
